Limits worth knowing before you report a bug

• Nothing is highlighted in a row. Either the candidates tie, or only one of them has a usable number. Highlighting everything would say less than highlighting nothing, so it stays blank on purpose.
• A newcomer has to beat the leader by 5% before it is brought to you. Below that you would get mail every day about small change.
• Stock is per listing, not per variant. Etsy reports one quantity for a whole listing, so a scarf in six colours shows one number and "in stock" can mean a colour you did not want.
• One check a day. A listing can sell out and come back between two checks without you hearing anything.
• "No longer listed" is not "sold out." It means Etsy has dropped the listing entirely. It will never return and cannot win again — remove it.
• Hunting only works if the board has search words. Boards created without them only re-check what you added.

Common problems

• "That is not an Etsy listing link or id." Paste the full listing URL, or just the number in it. Shop pages and search results are not listings.
• The hunt keeps bringing rubbish. The search words are too broad — they are matching a different kind of object. Delete the board and remake it with the words a seller would put in a title. There is no way to edit words in place yet.
• No mail ever. That is normal. A board can sit unchanged for weeks. Check mail is on, and use Re-check every board on your account page to force a pass.
• A candidate shows sold out but Etsy shows it in stock. The figures are from the last check, not from this second. Force a re-check.

Deleting things

A candidate: remove under its column. A board: the link at the bottom of the board. Everything: close and erase on your account page. See Data for what each of those actually clears.
